In this video, we go over your second electric hose replacement option for your Kenmore Central Vacuum System. Your old hose may be in need of a replacement, but your PowerMate may still be working. Our Electric Hose Option 2 (Kenmore style direct connect will a 6ft pigtail to plug into the nearest electrical outlet by your inlet valves) will replace your old hose directly. When you receive your new hose, just plug it straight into your vacuum like as before. You are up and running again with a brand new hose, and when your power nozzle stops working you can buy a new Power-Mate replacement nozzle (called Hayden now). If you have proprietary inlet valves you will need a metal stub tube adapter (#302-1.25ST) to allow your hose to fit your valves. If you have standard inlet valves, then the new hose will fit directly into your valves.
